With over 25 years in the beauty industry as a freelance makeup artist, founder Laura Gallo has always personally struggled with many ingredients in makeup products due to sensitivities and allergies. As she herself always had to keep a close watch on products she had to use, it only made sense to create a brand that she could closely oversee production, quality, and hygiene standards be met to the fullest extent. Supporting local Canadian manufacturing helps keep jobs and employment which is also close to Laura's heart.
