Poppy Barley's mission is luxury for the people and planet. By re-thinking every step, their sustainably-made products are fairly-priced and designed to be worn on repeat. As a Certified B Corporation, Poppy Barley meets the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability, while working with the best factories and materials to create luxury, sustainable goods while skipping the traditional markups. Founded in 2012 by sisters Justine and Kendall Barber, they launched Poppy Barley because they couldn’t find anything like it. Although they were newcomers to shoemaking, Justine and Kendall were raised to be creative, ambitious, industrious and ask a lot of questions. From Edmonton, Alberta, the sisters searched for factories that shared their vision to re-think the footwear industry. Partnering with family-owned factories, Poppy Barley started producing sustainably-made footwear and accessories, and continues to be driven by the relentless pursuit to re-think luxury for people and the planet.
