Behind The Brand
I Love Tyler Madison (ILTM) started over 15 years ago with two sisters in fashion, Jacqueline and Charna, who were tired of choosing between comfort and style. In their late twenties, both struggling with body image and weight, they couldn’t find pants that felt good and looked good. Lululemon had just taken off, leggings were suddenly office wear, and they thought — there has to be another option. At the time, they were designing pull-on pants for maternity and “missy” lines, basically clothing made for everyone except women like themselves. That’s when it clicked — the sisters saw a gap and decided to fill it. Their first creation was a pair of pull-on tummy control vegan leather pants that were sleek, flattering, and ridiculously comfortable. That was the beginning of I Love Tyler Madison, with a mission to help women feel that getting dressed could be easy, empowering, and fun — because life is stressful enough, your clothes shouldn’t be.
The company was named after the sisters' two rescue dogs, Tyler and Madison — because that’s what real, unconditional love looks like. From the start, giving back has been part of the company's DNA, with a portion of every sale going to animal charities across North America. As Jacqueline and Charna evolved — as women, mothers, and founders — so did the brand. They began opening up about the deeper stuff: mental health, body image, self-esteem, eating disorders. Through their blog and community events, they started real conversations about how clothing and confidence are connected — and how what we wear can shape how we feel about ourselves.
What began as a search for the perfect pull-on pant has grown into something much bigger: a movement toward self-love, comfort, and authenticity — inside and out.

Jacqueline is the creative force; after more than 20 years in fashion, she went back to school to complete her Master's in counselling psychology. Her mission is to use the ILTM platform to normalize conversations around mental health and to remind women that it’s okay not to be okay. She openly shares her own story of living with an eating disorder for most of her life — the reason getting dressed never felt easy or joyful. Through her work, she hopes to bridge fashion and mental health, showing that what we wear can sometimes be the little boost we need to face the day. She continues to advocate for women by offering her counselling services through ILTM — always free of charge — because no one should suffer in silence.

Charna is the engine that keeps everything running. She’s the business mind — the one on the road, in the showrooms, and constantly hustling to grow the brand. A mom to twin girls and stepmom to two boys, she somehow manages to juggle family, travel, and the fast pace of retail with grit and grace. Having faced her own health challenges, including thyroid issues, she understands firsthand what it means to push through, stay strong, and show up — for your family, your work, and yourself.
Together, they’ve built I Love Tyler Madison not just as a fashion brand, but as a community — a space for women to feel seen, supported, and understood.
