Behind The Brand
EATABLE was founded by Charlene Li and her husband Vincent Li. Their journey began while the pair was living in Boston, and their desire to find a community in a new city led them to nurture a lifelong passion for food at a local commercial kitchen. When a unique Whisky-infused caramel popcorn they'd been making in their own kitchen for years ended up winning in a pitch competition, EATABLE was born.EATABLE has been featured on CBC's Dragon's Den, at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), Canadian Screen Awards, the Junos and Grammys. They've also had the opportunity to land dream collaborations with household names in the beverage industry, and have even had the chance to create custom popcorn for the 95th Oscars with the Academy of Motion Pictures!Charlene was a Top 5 finalist for The 2020 Mompreneur Startup Award, and nominated as "One to Watch" in 2021's Women of Influence Awards.
