7 Steps to Start Your Day On The Right Track

Are you looking to jumpstart your day with positivity and productivity? Oftentimes our days can get derailed, but when we start with a good foundation, it can lead to less stress and more enjoyment.

Here are a few ways to ensure you have a great start to your day, any day!

  1. Start With Gratitude
Take a moment in the morning to reflect on the things you are grateful for. This can help set a positive tone for the rest of the day. We love using the Please Notes Gratitude Journal to help towards making this a daily practice.

  1. Eat A Healthy Breakfast
Fuel your body and mind with a nutritious breakfast. Avoid sugary cereals and opt for whole foods like fruits, vegetables, and whole grains, and be sure to add protein to your meal. We're big fans of the many benefits from using Niyama's Clean Plant Protein Powder.

  1. Get Moving
Whether it's a quick walk around the block or a full workout, getting your body moving in the morning can help boost your energy levels and improve your mood. You'll often find us in comfy gear from Muve Life and Olive & Splash to not only feel good as we're moving, but look good too!

  1. Set Your Intentions
Take a few moments to think about what you want to accomplish during the day. Setting clear intentions can help you stay focused and motivated. In addition, writing them out and visualizing what you'd like to tackle can help clear your headspace and maintain better clarity on actually getting things done. You can try using something like Stephanie Chinn's Magical Day Planner Pad to set timed targets and keep yourself organized.

  1. Practice Mindfulness
Mindfulness techniques like deep breathing or meditation can help calm your mind and reduce stress. Try to incorporate these practices into your morning routine whenever possible. We've seen the benefits of using apps like Calm or Balance, as well as easy to follow activity cards such as the Zen Mama Yoga Deck for busy women.

  1. Limit Distractions
Avoid checking your phone or emails first thing in the morning. Instead, focus on setting a positive tone for the day without any external interruptions. Try keeping your phone notifications on silent for at least the first 30 minutes after you awake.

  1. Stay Hydrated
Drink a glass of water as soon as you wake up to replenish your body and kickstart your metabolism. Want to go a step further? Add a packet of your fave SuperBelly Hydration Powder flavours and give your gut a healthy wake-up while you're at it!

By incorporating these tips into your morning routine, you can set yourself up for success and have a productive and fulfilling day ahead.
