Formulated by UofT and MIT trained organic chemist, Dr. Jolanta Wodzinska, Stoic Beauty creates simple skincare for complex skin concerns. Stoic products are made to help relieve symptoms of rosacea, eczema, sensitive skin, dry skin/scalp, psoriasis, stretch marks as well as gentle, natural skincare staples.
Founder Maria Wodzinska is a passionate entrepreneur who cut her teeth running a theatre company and pursuing all things aesthetic. It was a natural transition to lend her creative sensibility to her mother, Dr. Jolanta's vision of a new standard for water-safe skincare: products that biodegrade well in water and do not bioaccumulate in aquatic life. As a theatre artist, Maria worked for 10 years with community performances focussed on environmental advocacy. She is passionate about water sustainability and water justice.
