Toronto fashion designer Helene Clarkson was frustrated by the lack of multi-purpose, wrinkle-resistant clothing suitable for both business meetings in the day and elegant evenings out, so she created a line of clothing specifically for the sophisticated traveler and the carry-on suitcase. In 2014 Helene launched her eponymous clothing line to help women look and feel great no matter where in the world they were going.
Helene is also President of the Max Clarkson Family Foundation, a Toronto-based foundation with a mandate to support Canadian art, culture and education. For 8 years Helene chaired the board of Esprit Orchestra, Canada's only orchestra devoted to contemporary orchestral music. Helene was a Genie (Canadian Screen Awards) nominated actress in her past life. Helene is a graduate of Queen’s University and of the Neighbourhood Playhouse Theatre School.
