Founder Mangala Rao-Dsa is often asked “How are you aging backwards?”. Her skin and hair are in better condition at 47 than when she was in her 20’s!

Mangala's journey to radiant skin began in the foothills of the Himalayas, where she arrived at an Ayurvedic retreat after scattering her father’s ashes. At the time, Mangala's skin was highly sensitive, red, and blotchy, with milia under her eyes, deep wrinkles, and hair loss around her temples. She felt disconnected from herself—until she learned something life-changing.

Mangala discovered that her skin struggles weren’t just about the products she was using—they were about what was hidden inside them. For years, she used skincare and haircare filled with synthetic fragrances, never realizing they were the culprit behind her redness, irritation, and breakouts. Mangala's sensitive skin was constantly reacting, and no product seemed to help, until she stripped it all back.

It wasn’t until Mangala immersed herself in Ayurveda that she understood the power of pure, plant-based ingredients. Free from harsh chemicals and artificial scents, her skin and hair began to heal.
