Maison Apothecare has formulated a healing serum with bioavailable Vitamin C in the form of ascorbic acid + sea buckthorn (a super fruit that is very nutritious and rich in Vitamin C).
Why is topical Vitamin C so important for the skin? It speeds up cell turnover by stimulating the body's production of collagen, and reduces melanin (discolouration) both of which are hallmarks of youthful, smooth skin and an even tone.
Our beautiful blend also contains Petitgrain essential oil known to help ease stress, calm the nervous system and promote a healthy sleep. Apply this serum 3-4 times per week in the evening after cleansing. Allow it to penetrate for 10 minutes before applying our Night Oil or Healing Oil Cream.
*Note: since this serum is a mild exfoliant stimulating a gentle resurfacing of the skin, dryness and flaking may occur at the beginning of use. Moisturize more frequently while using this product.

Maison Apothecare is an outward expression of everything that is important to Founder, Formulator & President Natacha Rey: family, creativity, honesty, loyalty, and the planet.
Born in France and raised on an organic farm in Ontario, Natacha spent her childhood making potions and lotions for her loved ones using the ingredients she collected from nature. As an adult, she pursued this passion and studied homeopathic medicine at the Australian College of Natural Medicine where she earned a Bachelor of Health Science. Natacha’s early career focused on formulating bespoke skin care products. With the birth of her first child in 2010, her creative energy materialized as Sleepy Owl Baby Care, one of Maison Apothecare’s popular product lines. Natacha had vested interest in developing an effective, eco-friendly, non-toxic cleaning product for her growing family. After two intense years of formulating, she struck liquid gold with the Lemon Aide Surface Cleaner. Eight years later, the Lemon Aide cleaning line has grown to include a full range of environmentally responsible and refillable products to clean every corner of your home.
Today, Natacha continues to formulate new products for the whole family as she leads Maison Apothecare along the sometimes-bumpy road of business. The company has moved from her kitchen in Toronto’s west end to a production and order fulfillment facility in Oakville, Ontario. In addition to her husband Jon and her children Zoe and Max, her family has grown to include ten dedicated team members at Maison Apothecare. For Natacha, creating stable, meaningful, and rewarding employment is a priority and this is made possible by Maison Apothecare customers.
