Behind The Brand
Peacock Press is an independent publishing company, based in Ottawa and Toronto, that seeks to support historically marginalized voices, especially those belonging to Black and Indigenous communities, Women and People of Colour, LGBTQ+ folks and people living with disabilities. Peacock Press is co-founded by author, educator and entrepreneur Hanieh Khoshkhou. Her first book of prose and poetry, Because I Can, is available online and at select Indigo stores across Toronto. Her love for training and development compels her to create interactive e-courses and facilitating workshops that challenge and engage the learner through her tech company, e-Tree Group.
