In 2020 Real Talk Candles was born from a living room floor. Since then, it's launched into a company that offers a range of "out of the box" products, but Real Talk Candles will always be the foundation of where The Real Talk Shop began.
The goal of Real Talk Candles is more than just a scented candle. It's a statement. It's the kind of candle that causes conversations. Some funny, and some heartwarming. But always REAL.
Each one of these candles is hand-poured with love, made from a soy blend wax and featuring a wooden wick for a 'crackle' flame.

Behind The Brand
Rachael-Lea Rickards is the owner and Creator of The Real Talk Shop, formally, Real Talk Candles. What started as a traumatic assault in the street by a stranger, turned into a company with a message and purpose.
Turning to candles to deal with anxiety and panic attacks from the incident, Rachael-Lea morphed her two worlds together to create candles that, at the time, she had no idea would rock the city with her messages.
Being a playwright, published author and a bit of a "fire starter" with her online show "Real Talk with Rachael-Lea" that she hosted for two years on Facebook, it just made sense that her witty and uncensored humour should translate to her candles.
Since going viral, Rachael-Lea has been profiled in Elle Magazine, Toronto Life, The National, City Line, Breakfast Television and Buzz Feed to name a few. Real Talk Candles has now expanded to home decor, clothing and even dog wear, with all the same cheeky messages as her candles.
