ABOUT OUR GUEST EXPERT:
The idea for Homeworks Etc. was born back in 2007 when Jacqueline De’ath discovered her passion for woodworking and handmade home decor. As a mom of two girls, she found joy in creating handmade nursery and kids room decor projects for her daughters. Many of the keepsakes she made are still in her children’s rooms today. This inspired her to begin Homeworks Etc., so that others could discover the joy of handmade home decor.

She recognizes the impact that decorating a home can have on family growth and connection. She also knows that we are all creative beings, and that we long for connection with others. Crafting together fosters community – a wonderful opportunity to feel a part of something special, to unleash creativity, and to share a common passion.

Jacqueline De’ath is an experienced Mompreneur and DIY expert with over 10 years experience. Her innovative DIY home decor opportunities welcome both adults and children to the crafting table. When not decorating cozy nooks in her own home, Jacqueline loves to spend time at the beach with her family, and always enjoys a glass of wine and a good chat with friends!
